Refund & Cancellation Policy

1) Scope

This policy applies to purchases of Pro Membership and any paid features on ProQuizzers.

Note: ProQuizzers is run by a small team and uses Razorpay to process payments. We do not store card or UPI credentials on our servers.

2) Digital Services & Non-Refundable Nature

Pro membership and other paid features are digital and typically delivered instantly. Because these are digital services, subscriptions are non-refundable after activation, except in the limited cases outlined below or when required by law.

3) When Refunds May Apply

  • Duplicate charge: If you were charged more than once for the same order.
  • Payment succeeded but Pro did not activate: If payment completed but Pro was not activated on your account within a reasonable time (usually a minute).
  • Genuine accidental purchase (first time only): Contact support within 7 days and avoid using Pro features while the request is processed.

We evaluate such requests case-by-case. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and follow Razorpay/bank timelines.

4) Cancellations & Auto-Renew

  • You can cancel renewal any time before the next billing date from Settings → Upgrade.
  • Cancellation prevents the next charge; access remains active until the end of the current paid period.
  • Cancellation does not automatically generate a refund for the current billing cycle.

5) Failed / Pending / Chargeback

  • Failed / Pending: If a payment is pending or failed, Pro will not be activated. If funds were debited, your bank/payment provider usually reverses them automatically.
  • Chargebacks: If you raise a dispute with your bank, please inform us at pquizzers@gmail.com. We may pause access to Pro while the dispute is investigated.

6) How to Request a Refund

Email pquizzers@gmail.com or use Contact & Suggestions with:

  • Registered email and username
  • Order ID / Payment ID (from Razorpay)
  • Reason for refund request and any supporting screenshots

7) Processing Time

Once approved, we initiate refunds within 3–7 business days. Actual credit to your account depends on your bank and Razorpay's settlement timelines.

8) Payment Processor

Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. We do not store card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, or net-banking passwords. Razorpay may share limited transaction metadata with us (status, last digits, instrument type) so we can activate or refund your plan.
